Archipelago (Ark-ee-pel-a-goh) are a genre-defying trio of adventurous musicians, fronted by Faye MacCalman (Sax/Clarinet/Voice/Synth) and completed by John Pope (Bass/FX/Voice) and Christian Alderson (Drums/Voice). Their sound blends off-kilter rhythms with raw melodic songwriting, channeling free jazz, pop hooks, otherworldly atmospheres and exhilarating trio improvisation.
