The quintet project, originally brought about through friendships made at Trinity Laban Conservatoire has transpired over the last year into a mixture of hard bop and mellow sounds.  The thoughtful arrangements and original compositions from Louis and Toby are greatly inspired by the dynamic, swinging music of their collective compositional hero’s, including the likes of Mulgrew Miller, Dick Oatts, Tom Harrell and Kenny Barron.
The band aim to replicate the authenticity of ‘New York style’ swing with their modern sound and personal tones.
