Supersonic Festival x Falasteen On Film present… SIRENS + pre Supersonic social

SIRENS (2022) is a documentary which intimately chronicles the lives and music of Slave to Sirens, a band made up of five young metal heads whose burgeoning fame is set against the backdrop of the Lebanese revolution. Its members wrestle with friendship, sexuality, and destruction as their music serves as a refuge to Beirut’s youth culture. Stick around after the film for drinks in one of Digbeth’s best designed bars with music curated by Seksu from Bledi Party – a London based collective celebrating the LGBTQ+ SWANA community.

Falasteen on Film are a nomadic community cinema bringing the best independent, archival and beautiful cinema from Palestine (& beyond) to Brum.

Come down for a night of electronic-focused experimentation.

A heady brew of improv, noise and remix culture that showcases the depth and diversity of the left-field music scene in Birmingham and beyond.

It’s a slice of cosmic pie for all the family, washed down with a hot jug of granular gravy. All in one Pan.
